A lot of people complained that the Fight Weapon Talents included in the original Player’s Handbook were far inferior to Martial Power’s Tempest Technique. This Dragon Magazine article aims to redeem such a mistake.

No one ever played a Druid in my campaigns. They were more complicated to play than a Wizard. Wild Shape was very convoluted and having a Beast Companion made it feel like you were juggling far too many things at the same time. If anyone had been willing to sift through all that nonsense, they would have found that they were one of the most powerful classes available…

I’ve also purchased and sunk my teeth into Never Winter Nights 2: Gold, which is NWN2 and its first expansion, Mask of the Betrayer, all conveniently stuck together for my enjoyment. The game is… well, it’s a freaking amazing 3rd edition D & D simulator.
