WHERE IS ROCKET LLAMA?

More specifically, where is rocketllama.com’s homepage? For the next week, anyone visiting rocketllama.com will get redirected to our Blog-It Llama! page while we overhaul the homepage.

Since the rocketllama.com website launched on Independence Day, we’re going to debut the homepage’s new look on Juneteeth (a.k.a. Freedom Day, June 19th). We didn’t want to wait a whole month for the next July 4, but Freedom is synonymous enough with Independence. We could have picked next Sunday, Flag Day, but Juneteenth deserves all the attention it can get.

Some people will wonder why the homepage didn’t look more like this page  or our actionflickchick.com sister site long ago. Trust us, with what we’ve been working toward, that would have been inefficient.

WHERE IS THE NEWEST COMIC?

The Ongoing Adventures of Rocket Llama #151, “Symphony of the Llama,” continues. The newest comic will be right where it’s always been and will keep getting updated throughout the week.

AND NEW POSTS?

Even though we’ll be writing less this week, it will probably look like we’re writing more because we’ll be posting some material we’ve been sitting on till summer, like our interviews with people like DC Comics President Paul Levitz and 30 Days of Night artist Ben Templesmith.

Maybe we’ll even address the rumor that our Action Flick Chick is really Felicia Day, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress and creator of The Guild. Maybe.

See you soon.
