The Hitler of Comic Books

Where The Wild Things Are is a movie that has been in a strange sort of limbo for a long time now. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. I even watched a little snippet from a test screen from about a year ago. Now they finally have gotten their act together and released a trailer. It looks riveting, like a very grown-up kids movie. Here’s the trailer if you want to see it.
So Jamie Madrox just got killed in this Ultimatum mini-series that Jeph Loeb is writing. That just shows a lack of understanding of the character. He’s been killing so many characters I think he wants to be called “The Hitler of Comics”. Man I’m sick of hearing about Ultimatum. I just wish it was over so Bendis can start writing his own stories again with Ultimate Spider-Man.
I’ve abandoned Dollhouse and haven’t looked back since. I’m trying my best to keep up with Terminator and catch up on Battlestar Galactica. I’ve also been watching United States of Tara, which has proven to be very good stuff. At first the show felt like it wanted to be an hour long show but only got a thirty minute time slot. Now that the story lines have picked up, each episode feels like you get a lot more out of it.
Did you guys know that Twilight made 370 million dollars world wide? Ugh…I mean, I’m not part of the demographic this movie was made for but COME ON! It made ten times what it cost to make. If it made 100 million it would’ve been a big success. This is just ridiculous.
